Weekly
mixed drop-in
The
mixed weekly drop-in runs on a Thursday between 1 and 4pm and offers
a space to socialise with others in a comfortable, non-judgemental,
relaxed atmosphere.
It’s a safe place where if you feel like you need a confidential
chat, staff are available for a one to one session in one of the counselling
rooms.
There is no obligation to stay for the entire session and you can
come along for however long you want.
What
usually happens?
From 1-2pm there is tea, coffee, snacks and a chance to have a chat
and from 2-3pm we have activities including talks and workshops on
subjects such as benefits advice, sexual health and civil partnerships,
together with social-based activities such as quizzes.
Sometimes we have trips out to museums, restaurants and bowling alleys
and these trips may start earlier than 1pm to allow time for travel.
The
programme
of activities is organised by the Drop-In group.
If
you are new to the Drop-In, you will be asked to fill in a membership
form. The information you provide in this form is confidential and
is used for monitoring purposes only.
